Saphirwerk Industrieprodukte SA (SWIP) is supporting the Swiss team SWISSPIRIT Saphirwerk Industrieprodukte SA supports the Swiss team SWISSPIRIT, which will participate in the World Solar Challenge in Australia, as well as in other solar vehicle demonstrations and competitions all over the globe. SWISSPIRIT is a solar vehicle designed to compete in international solar events. The vehicle was developed with the support of eight Swiss universities in the field of applied sciences. The project team includes students and professors as well as numerous partners from industry, all of them sharing the concern about mobility and environment. SWISSPIRIT sees itself as symbol of a successful symbiosis between technical achievement and ecology. Key word of it’s commitment is «useful innovation», indicating a combination of technological innovation, know how, and public interest.
